Great news for Canadian residents!
“Put some Porter’s on it,” our mothers used to say.
For those who used Rundle’s Liniment Salve we are now able to supply you with Porter’s Liniment Salve which has always been made from the same formula as Rundle’s Salve.
Porter’s Salve was originally formulated in 1916 by the Geo. H. Rundles Company of Piqua, Ohio. The Rundle Company also manufactured the salve in Windsor Ontario and the Mentholatum Company of Fort Erie, who later bought out the Windsor company, used the same formula as Porter’s but sold it under the name of Rundle’s Salve. This was discontinued years ago.
After more than 90 years, this soothing first-aid salve is still providing healing comfort to bruises, rough and cracked skin, insect bites, hard corns, sunburn and local irritations. The drawing quality works particularly well on slivers of metal, wood, or glass beneath the surface of the skin. It is recommended for man and beast alike, and has been a medicine cabinet staple since 1916.
Contains chlorobutanol, cresylic acid, zinc oxide, camphor, ammonia and oils of clove, sassafras and myrrh in a base of petrolatum, beeswax and lanolin.
Caution; Do not apply to large areas of the body. In case of deep or puncture wounds or serious burns, consult a physician; if redness, irritation, swelling or pain persists or increases, or if infection occurs discontinue use and consult a physician.
Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
